Transportation Infrastructure Companions is a three way partnership between New York-based Ridgewood Infrastructure, LLC and the Savage Firms. Transportation Infrastructure Companions acquired the Worldwide Terminals Fernandina, LLC (Fernandina), the supervisor and operator for the Port of Fernandina, Florida. The Port of Fernandina, northeast of Jacksonville, FL, is a strategic intermodal terminal dealing with important bulk, breakbulk, and containerized cargo. The port offers mission-critical transport, logistics administration, and product dealing with companies to a various buyer base. The transaction was revealed on July 14, 2022.
Ridgewood Infrastructure and Savage established Transportation Infrastructure Companions to collectively purchase and function important transportation and logistics infrastructure all through the USA. Fernandina is Transportation Infrastructure Companions’ second acquisition, complementing the three way partnership’s Carolina Marine Terminal operations in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Savage started in 1946 with the acquisition of a single truck in American Fork, Utah.
